The Department undertook 3,000 Modernization remedial measures in parks and gardens, painted 5,000 banks and recovered nearly 200,000 flowers.

70,000 performances pruning, phytosanitary treatments in 43,000 palm trees, 30,000 units repairing irrigation systems and almost 7,000 sprinklers are some of the actions carried out by the Department led by José Guillén.

The plan to improve the green areas of neighborhoods and districts undertaken by the Department of Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation and responds to requests and needs of Murcia, to enhance the use and enjoyment of the parks by children and adults .
