150 children with fewer opportunities will be cared for outside school hours with Ciberaula project (05/02/2016)

The project is aimed at children between 6 and 12 years and the hours will be from 16:00 to 20:00.

The classrooms are located in the Center for Social Services Espinardo, the Cultural Center of Los Dolores and the local 'La Innovative' of St. Pius X

The Board of Governors approved the implementation of the project 'Ciberaula, we are after school', which aims to provide educational resources and recreational activities as well as the incorporation of communication technologies and information centers that can deal school hours under 150 families and fragile group with problems reconciling work and family life.

This program, which depends on the Department of Social Rights, headed Conchita Ruiz Caballero, will take place over a period of two years, amounting to 120,000 euros, and is aimed at children between 6 and 12 years with less opportunities for neighborhoods and districts of the scope of the Department of Social Services.

The classrooms are located in the Center for Social Services Espinardo, the Cultural Center of Los Dolores and the local 'La Innovative' of St. Pius X.

Through knowledge of computer skills, promote reading and educational and leisure activities is offered a space of knowledge where you can explore, analyze, exchange and present information, while they are provided with access to indispensable tools in the present.

The project has the support of the Banking Foundation 'La Caixa, also it aims to promote a framework of comprehensive development of children and proper use of leisure time, as well as facilitating their integration into the social environment through ludic activities educational school hours and holidays that take place in the 'Ciberaula'.

The schedule 'Ciberaula' will be Monday through Friday from 16:00 to 20:00 hours.

However, in the holiday period of Christmas, Easter and spring festivals schedule will be adapted according to programming.

'Ciberaula' is an appropriate remedy for the detection and prevention of a number of social and educational issues concerning the child population of the town and a must to support the educational intervention with children in addressing issues such as absenteeism or support school failure, social integration, etc.,

At the same time it is a means to address cross-content such as gender equality and the environment, giving an educational leisure sense and free time and training in the proper use of new technologies, preventing serious problems misuse thereof causes many children as cyberbullying.
