The city of Murcia made Sectoral Council Regulation Noise for a city without noise (05/02/2016)

The Governing Board has given its approval for the original approval at the next Full Council, the draft regulation that will regulate the establishment and operation of the Sectoral Council on Noise of the City of Murcia, to achieve a sustainable environment and sound quality in the town.

This organ involvement, provides an opportunity for associations, political groups in the city of Murcia, professional associations, neighborhood and business associations make inquiries, and also shows all available information regarding the noise in the city of Murcia and protection enviroment.

In the Sector Council can discuss all issues that deal with the problem of noise, so that, knowing the main problems arising from noise pollution and listening to all parties concerned, the best solution will be sought for each of those problems.

Thus, the main function of this Council, an initiative of the Department of Planning, Environment and Huerta, who heads Corchón Antonio Navarro, is to detect the noise problems that exist in the municipality, study its origin, consequences fundamentals and possible solutions, in order to propose to the government team of the City of Murcia concrete measures that can be carried out in public policies to eradicate the problem, or if necessary, improve the situation.

It consists of all local groups, neighborhood and business associations, professional associations, that is, for all the sectors that may be affected by the problem of noise, and can, thus, addressing issues from all viewpoints and points view.
