The seventh edition of this charity festival, promoted by the Gmp Foundation will allocate 100% of the proceeds to create a classroom ABA Murcia integration for children with autism.

The first days of March stage Circus Theatre will host the ultimate expression of magic, illusion, humor, entertainment and solidarity, which will come from the hand of the VII International Festival of Magic Solidarity Murcia, organized by the Foundation Gmp which starts again this initiative full of grand illusions.

On this occasion will take place on 3, 4 and 5 March.

The proceeds will go to the creation of an ABA Hall of full integration for children with autism, a project promoted by Abamur, Murcia association created in 2014 to investigate the pervasive developmental disorders, especially through the application of ABA techniques;

training of personnel dedicated to this therapy and support to individuals and families living with those affected.

ABA Classroom is a pioneering project in Spain, but supported by the results obtained in the US and other European countries, will help to develop a study, draw conclusions and make recommendations to educational authorities, so that can promote significant changes in the treatment and outcome of children with autism.

The Mayor, José Ballesta, participated this morning in the presentation of the event along with the director of the GMP Foundation, Francisco Hernandez, president of Abamur, Noelia Pina, and the artistic director of the festival, Javi Martin.

They were also attended by the councilors for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, and Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz.

In 2016 we celebrate the seventh edition of the festival, which since 2012 takes place at the Teatro Circo -in the first two took place in the School of Art dramatic-.

In its first six years he recorded 10,800 viewers and total revenue that exceeded 214,000 euros.

On those occasions, the beneficiary institutions were Nuevo Horizonte, ASSIDO, Feaps, Astrapace, Fundown and CEOM that with the help of Grand Illusions, could develop important projects to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities, including programs inclusive entertainment to support independent living, hydrotherapy and adapted swimming, active aging and expansion and reform of the day center.

The Mayor, José Ballesta, stressed that "we must ensure and protect equal opportunities for all children Murcia without distinction, promoting their full integration and development" and the project for the support of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) It will improve the quality of life of these children and their families, and makes us better as a society. With this initiative the Gmp Foundation advances its goal of improving the quality of people with Down syndrome, Acquired Brain Injury and other intellectual disabilities to achieve their full family, school, work and social integration
