Ballesta The PSOE requires the convening of the Commission's Local Employment Pact (02/02/2016)

The spokesman of the Socialist Municipal Group, José Ignacio Gras, has called on the mayor José Ballesta the notice of the Commission's Local Employment Pact, with which compliance would be given to the agreement of the full council last November, which was approved by PSOE proposal unanimously.

"The situation faced by more than 48,000 residents of our town unemployed, half of them without any benefit, urges us to offer solutions," said Gras.

"It is true that our powers are limited, but the Council must fulfill its agreements and address one of the major issues of concern to citizens."

Jose Ignacio Gras has sent a letter to José Ballesta to convene as soon as possible of the Commission for Employment in the proposed composition of the same and its initial operation.

Among the issues that the Socialist Group proposed in the framework of the Committee on Employment Pact are the renovation and expansion of agreements with business associations of social economy, such as Ucomur and Amusal as well as independent workers' organizations UPTA and ATA, to develop initiatives aimed at job creation.

The advice to entrepreneurs in the districts and supplementary aid business projects are among the measures to be included in the battery of proposals that the PSOE will lead the Commission's Employment Pact.

"Unemployment is the biggest concern of the neighbors and for the City to take the initiative once and facilitate the development of new businesses that create jobs in emerging sectors and consolidated," said Socialist spokesman.

"We propose to do to prepare a study, in collaboration with the University of Murcia, on new employment niches and economic potential in the municipality of Murcia."

The inclusion of social clauses that favor local small and medium enterprise and social economy will be another initiative proposals and consideration of areas and sectors 0 where new entrepreneurs are exempt from municipal taxes for the first two years .
