The unionense writer Maria Cegarra was always in love with the poet Miguel Hernandez, "so even if platonic," as stated in the doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Murcia by Rosa Maria Penalva Moraga.
Under the new doctor, who obtained excellent cum laude for his research on Cegarra, this was not explicit about the relationship during her youth and as the Orihuela poet lived.

Says the author of the thesis that it has fulfilled one of the goals he set when he started working on it, which was to make known the life and work of Mary Cegarra and edit texts that until now had not come to the light.
This scientific work has also allowed the pursuit of material through Cegarra family and friends and other people close to this, which have facilitated the documentation kept on her, some of which lack adequate conservation was.
The doctoral thesis was supervised by professors from the University of Murcia Sunday Fernando Carmona Fernandez and Antonia Martinez Perez and judged by a court presided Arnaldos Manuel Martinez, also a professor of this institution.
