The journalist and writer Juan Gracia Armendáriz received today at the University of Murcia the Eighth National Award "2015 Solidarity Heart", which promotes Murcia Transplant Association (Ademtra) in collaboration with the educational institution.
The award, consisting of a sculpture by artist Salvador Susarte, is held annually to recognize individuals or organizations that have distinguished themselves in an altruistic and positive in promoting organ donation for transplantation, transplanted people support or transplant waiting and firm commitment in research.
During the ceremony, he addressed the Vice Chancellor for Students, Quality and Equality, Miguel Angel Perez, Faculty of Economics and Business, has also closed the X Conference on Transplantation and Quality of Life among transplant recipients and college students.
