348 children in El Palmar premiere the new school of New Schools (26/10/2015)

The Mayor and the President of the Community this morning visited the facilities, which include 18 units of kindergartens and elementary schools, plus dining, sports hall and rooms for tutoring.

The cost of the new center totaled almost 3.2 billion euros, of which 2.9 million relate to the investment of the Community and 280,000 euros to the value of 8,000 meters plot donated by the city.

The cooperation between government covers at present three projects in Guadalupe, Puebla de Soto and El Ranero.

The 348 students at the school of El Palmar New Schools premiere school this year, after 19 months of construction and an investment of 2.9 million euros from the Autonomous Community, which adds another 280,000 of the value of the land donated by the city for construction.

The Mayor, José Ballesta, and the President, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, this morning visited the school, equipped with six units of second cycle of infant education, where this course enrolled 99 children, and 12 primary, with 249 students.

The third block of the college houses the gym, locker rooms, multipurpose room, dining and auxiliary facilities.

It also has two sports courts.

As a complement to conventional classes, the facilities also have specific classrooms for library, educational support and psychomotor room.

The center replaces the old school, it had to be shut down by the poor condition in which he found himself.

The collaboration between the two administrations have allowed other land-a plot of 8,000 square meters donated by the Town Hall- and build some new facilities that combine "quality, modernity and sufficient amplitude for children to enjoy adequate space to attend class" , said the Mayor.

"If all investments are always necessary and appropriate, this nuance is enhanced when it comes to spending on education, which are essential and necessary if we are to maintain or even increase our levels of welfare," said Ballesta during a visit this morning, which it has ensured that the city will continue to put the right to "further improve the means directed to education, addressing the needs of the school population in the nursery and primary levels of the municipality" public land.

This collaboration is manifested in three projects currently being implemented right now.

It is building a new pavilion kindergarten in Guadeloupe and replacement center in Puebla de Soto, besides expanding the Juan XXIII school in El Ranero, which is coming into operation.
