The role of women in ancient Mediterranean peoples is the object of analysis of the international congress held the Faculty of Arts and the Center for Middle Eastern Studies and Late Antiquity (CEPOAT) of the University of Murcia, from 21 to 23 October.
The conference will be inaugurated on Wednesday professor at the University of Oviedo Rosa Maria Cid (10:45 hours, Hall of the Faculty of Arts), and along the same issues as the participation of women in politics will be discussed Century BC, the myth of the Queen of Sheba, the woman in the literature of ancient Egypt or discrimination in this Roman Family Law.
