Murcia has marked change its priorities in this legislative oust the PP municipal boards in neighborhoods and districts, in order to "change the way of doing politics" and make citizens of the municipality in real protagonist of that transformation.
Councilman Sergio Ramos explained that "throw" the PP, although it is one of the objectives of its formation, is not an event that can occur at any price, but based on political and organizational document each board determined the main lines of the negotiations with the political forces in every neighborhood and hamlet.
The axes of these documents are, according to the mayor, democratic decentralization, including an increase in the powers and budget meetings, as well as greater transparency and citizen participation;
the defense of public services and prioritize social spending.
However, Ramos has said that's change local assemblies have autonomy to decide the political strategy in each place, always following the principles set by the training.
"Change Murcia wants to oust the PP but not at any price. We want a new form of organization for boards and this does not rule out seeking support from citizens or PSOE, provided that clear lines that we are untouchable are respected."
In addition, the council has called on the government team to be established to "urgently" all municipal boards, and has been accused of "hijacking democracy in the districts to not have them yet established".
