The Department of Youth and Development Cooperation, through Aguas de Murcia, has awarded prizes Aguas de Murcia Solidaria contest, now in its sixth edition.
The aim of these awards is none other than to contribute to facilitate the access of goods and services essential to the life in those countries where they are needed.
The project FADE "Drinking water for rural populations and Ayene Mbleoa", located in Cameroon Foundation has won the prize of 10,000 euros and aims to facilitate access to drinking water in both rural villages to improve conditions of life.
In addition, Councillor for Development Cooperation, said that with the implementation of this project, "diminish the diseases related to water scarcity, problems of dehydration and displacement of more than 2 km to stock up on the same" .
The design consists of digging two wells, one in the field of primary school Mbleoa and the other on land provided by local authorities Ayene in this way will ensure continued access to drinking water for about 1200 people.
So said Rebeca Perez, "a favorable environment for the development of the training of children is achieved, improve hygiene and general health, alleviate poverty and improve quality of life."
