The Department of Culture has organized a full program of performances to liven up the nights of August.
In addition to the eight concerts that will host the Romea squares and flowers on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August, Murcia and visitors will enjoy the concert of Bosco group and an anthology of zarzuela Felix Mateo.
On Monday 10, the Murcia group Bosco will offer his unique music, mixing classic rock with pop, folk, jazz and reggae in the Plaza of the Apostles, from 22 am.
The 17th will be the turn of the operetta lovers hand Felix San Mateo, founder and music director of the Lyric Company of Zarzuela in Madrid, which also give a recital at the Plaza of the Apostles 22 hours.
In this edition of Murcia in summer performances they have quadrupled over the previous edition and have extended day programming.
Due to the success of the previous year, the City has invested heavily in this cycle by extending it to the months of June and September and designing more than 40 performances that are being developed in different places of the town, all summer.
The performances in the Plaza del Romea take place every Tuesday until 25 August;
the Plaza de las Flores, every Wednesday until September 16;
and the Plaza de San Juan, Thursdays until 17 September.
All concerts begin at 21. 30 hours.
The Department of Culture organizes these performances to liven up the summer nights in the city, offering another attraction to Murcia and visitors, thus maintaining the cultural offer from June to September.
The program, developed in collaboration with the hospitality industry of these three places, allow compatible Murcia cuisine with live music.
