43 City workers who retire this year are honored on the day of the patron of the local administration (22/05/2015)

Forty-three workers in the City this year ending his career have staged this morning the tribute traditionally organized on the day of the feast of Santa Rita, patron saint of the local administration.

The Plenary Hall has hosted the event, in which the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, thanked his dedication to public service and has delivered one by one, from a badge and shield of the City.

This traditional event has the support of officials who retire during this year or where, for any unexpected and unforeseen circumstances (disability, voluntary retirement, etc.) have stopped working after the act of Santa Rita held in 2014.

Before this tribute, the Mayor, together with the councilors on Security and Human Resources, Social Welfare, Culture and Heritage, among other members of the Corporation, and municipal officials attended the Mass celebrated in the chapel of the Vélez Cathedral.
