University of Murcia: conference Good Living (15/05/2015)

The rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, said today that "we are on the eve of an election in which we play the final dismantling of the university and public health".

The head of the University of Murcia was speaking during the conference held at the Rector by the secretary of Good Living Ecuadorian government, Freddy Ehlers Zurita.

After the conference politician Ecuador, Orihuela explained that "we have come to accept a world that perhaps enriches a few and pleased narcissism of many, especially in countries that dominate the scene economist".

"It has indicators needy and pass on the knowledge to know that the drive between developmentalism and sustainability can not be solved if not through education."

He added that education "should show how things really are, alienated with virtual technology, we confuse real with virtual, and the primary mission of the modern university has to be to open our eyes to reality".

Good Living Secretary and former Minister of Tourism, meanwhile, has said that "consumerism has become the worst drug" and added that we must change the way of life.

Ehlers Zurita noted during his speech that "the full enjoyment of life is lost, and we should ask what good progress if the man is not more happy."

According to the speaker, to live well must be done with dignity, and claimed values ​​such as honesty, fairness, harmony and equality.

Prior to this act, the governing team has offered a welcome to the former minister, during which it has signed a letter of intent for collaboration and has delivered a paperweight with the image of King Alfonso X the Wise and A pen.
