The Electoral Committee of the Popular Party of the Region of Murcia, chaired by Antonio Sánchez Carrillo, today approved unanimously the list of candidates with the PP in the elections of May 24 in the town of Murcia with José Ballesta forward,

Committee Chairman, Antonio Sánchez Carrillo, stressed that José Ballesta leadership team is composed of persons "engaged in Murcia and its citizens, and willing to work and make their own Murcia problems and find solutions."

"We endorse a solid training and preparation to continue building a modern and advanced city, creating jobs and wealth," he added.

José Ballesta Germán, (Murcia, 1958).

Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery.

Doctor in Medicine and Surgery.

University Professor and director of the University of Murcia, between 1998 and 2006. In the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, has been Minister of Public Works and Planning;

Minister for Universities and Research Company and spokesman for the Government of the Autonomous Community of Murcia since June 2011-2014.

Eduardo Martinez Oliva, (Moratalla, 1958).

Degree in Law.

He is chief of staff of the mayor of the City of Murcia since 1995 and formerly head of the legal department of the PP.

José Ortiz Roque González, (Sewell, 1960).

Doctor in Chemistry and manager of the University of Murcia for eight years.
