The International Competition of Tunas Costa Calida celebrating its 28th edition and will fill the pergola San Basilio music from 6 to 10 April.
The organization of the Contest has chosen this year to Murcia journalist Marienca Fernandez as Godmother of publishing, a position he will be joined by fellow journalist Francisco Martínez Campos, as Grand Master.
Both will be invested as such in the Inaugural Gala to be held on Monday, April 6 at the Teatro Circo de Murcia.

Two nights tunas

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 10th after ending the contest with the performance of the winning tuna, the Tuna de Medicina de Murcia, organizer of the event, and the Trio Shadows.
In the Spring Festival
The competition will, as every year, to the streets of Murcia to enjoy the Spring Festival, and will do with the Tuna de Medicina be around the Reina de la Huerta on Monday and will participate in the Parade of Flowers with its own float.
All tunas in competition form part of the parade to be held on Friday afternoon through the streets of downtown.
