The Mayor opened the first floor of the region for the processing of electronic waste (27/02/2015)

House has chaired this morning the inauguration of the new treatment plant for waste electrical and electronic equipment launched by Scrapping Paris in Cañada Hermosa.

The facility, built to Recycle City managed by Ferrovial Servicios, include a line for life vehicles capable of processing 16 tons per hour.

Treatment Center that the City has in Cañada Hermosa Murcia has made a reference and an international management model that takes waste, both from its recovery as the number of different treatments that practiced waste generated in the township.

This leadership is now reinforced by incorporating the Cluster Environment treatment plant for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and of life vehicles (ELV), the result of public-private partnerships: a side, City Hall, owner Treatment Center, and other junkyard Paris and Ferrovial, drivers installation.

As a result, today it has launched a pioneering treatment plant in the region, which will cover a new range of waste that until now were treated outside Murcia.

The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has been commissioned to inaugurate the new infrastructure facilities managed by Cespa Hall in Cañada Hermosa.

With a direct investment in the construction of more than 5 million, the facility has capacity of 3,400 tonnes of WEEE per year and up to 16 tons when the fragmentation of life vehicles.

In addition to promoting environmental protection, enable effect separation of materials with high commercial value, thus enabling reuse.

It is about valuing all elements of electrical appliances that are in homes, such as washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers, microwave ovens, etc.

6 new plants in eight months

The opening of this facility is a boost to Cluster Environment and Renewable Energy Murcia with the City Council and Ferrovial Servicios are developing a clear environmental efficiency initiative that also contributes to strengthening economic activity, promotes technological innovation and promotes job creation.

It comes just two months after the commissioning of plant bio sustainable Estrella Levante managed organic residues and food by-products from the manufacture of beer.

And eight months after the completion of the redevelopment of the treatment center with the construction of 4 new-plant selection facilities and Containers Rest, Treatment Plant Industrial and Bulky Waste, production plant and plant Solid Recovered Fuel Drying Lodos-.
