Students of Degree in Nursing and Masters in Nursing Emergency and Special Care UCAM participated this week in a mock accident with several vehicles involved

Students of Degree in Nursing and Master of Nursing Emergency and Special Care of the Catholic University of Murcia, participated this week in a mock accident victims, which were involved two cars and a bus.

As a novelty, the UCAM has used drones in order to be able to have an aerial view of the area.

In addition, these devices were equipped with thermal cameras that allowed locate the simulated patients in less time.

Also participated in the drill Grade students in psychology, who provide care to injured;

and members of Computer Engineering, who collaborated with the organization for communications between the various health teams and control the drones proves effective.

Notably in sham participation of Emergency Management 061 Region of Murcia, Murcia Civil Protection, Fire in Action NGO, DG Emergency and Zerintia Technologies.

Various scenarios are recreated;

at first firefighters secured the perimeter of the injured, and later attended the Health Services, and rushed the victims, classifying them according to their sestado, helping, and referring them to the most appropriate hospital for your situation.

Even a field hospital was set up.
