Students of Degree in Nursing and Master of Nursing Emergency and Special Care of the Catholic University of Murcia, participated this morning in a mock accident victims, which were involved two cars and a bus.
Also, new this year, the UCAM has used drones in order to be able to have an aerial view of the area and locate victims in less time.
They have also participated in the drill students of the Degree in Psychology, who provide care to injured;
and members of Computer Engineering, who have worked with the organization for communications between the various health teams and control the drones proves effective.
Notably in sham participation of Emergency Management 061 Region of Murcia, Murcia Civil Protection, Fire in Action NGO, DG Emergency and Zerintia Technologies.
Several scenarios have been recreated;
at first firefighters have secured the perimeter of the injured, and subsequently the Health Services have attended and relieved the victims, classifying them according to their sestado, socorriéndolas, and referring them to the most appropriate hospital according to their situation;
has even set up a field hospital.
During the day in the afternoon, at 18: 30h, there will be a single play of the accident, in which thermal cameras drones will be used in order to locate victims.
