The Sabbath begins practical training course responsible ownership of dogs in La Alberca and Artillery Barracks (26/02/2015)

With the aim of providing citizens with dogs all the information and tools necessary for proper integration and responsible ownership, the Department of Environment, who runs Adela Martinez-Cache, starts now practical training, following the success of the Theoretical day.

Last Friday, February 20, the hall of the City Hall Annex building, hosted the theoretical talk about responsible pet ownership and attended by over a hundred people interested.

The format was open and participatory, giving attendees the opportunity to raise questions, concerns and other issues in a round at the end of the paper.

After the theoretical part, now comes the turn of practices, which consist of attendees come to a canine area with their dogs.

Given that what is sought with the course is to learn to use a canine area everyday and looking for situations are treated as real as possible, the number of dogs who attend the lab should resemble as much as possible the number of dogs can find daily a canine area at a specific time and for a period of between 30 and 60 minutes.

The number of dogs may attend every practice class will be between 15 and 20 maximum.

The dates, times and spaces that will develop practices are:

- The garden in La Alberca host this Saturday, February 28 training at 11am.

- The Artillery Barracks (El Carmen), also held training on Saturday, February 28, at 16:30.

- Two groups for Sunday March 1, at 11 am and 12:30 pm will be done in the Garden Three Cups (The Florta).

- In the Garden of C / Rahman II training will take place on Friday, March 6, at 16:30.

- The Garden of Perros (The Fame) will host training on Saturday, March 7, at 11:00.

- In the Garden Street Abenarabi (Vistalegre) also takes place Saturday, March 7, at 16:30 pm

- The Chinese Garden (vs. Red Cross) will have it on Sunday, March 8, at 11:00.

The objectives of these training courses are:

- Differentiation between parks / green areas, and specific dog areas.

- Use of canine areas.

- Keys to a successful coexistence.

- Differences between dog training and dog training.

- Canine Ethology.

- To educate your dog you should know your dog.

- Guidelines and general routines to be in an urban environment.

- Ideal responsible dog pose.

- Bylaw pets.

- Check the bush or field with my dog.

Factors to be taken into account.

- Bonds and veterinary recommendations for our dog.

- Information Guidelines aimed at people who do not own a dog and are interested in having one.

The monitors will Jesús Emilio Pascual Saorín and Lara Lamas Bernal.

Jesús Emilio Pascual Saorín is an educator and dog trainer, canine ethologist, National Dog Show judge, breeder of Labrador retirever and director of Club-School SERMUCAN dog training.

Meanwhile, Lara Lamas Bernal is specialist veterinary surgery, veterinary "animal Help Murcia" Terra Natura Murcia surgeon between 2009 and 2011, and director of the Veterinary Center "DADO" (specialized in surgery and traumatology center).
