The Governing Board expresses its solidarity with the Mayor of Caracas and demands their immediate release (25/02/2015)

The Governing Body of the City of Murcia has agreed this morning at the weekly meeting of the Governing Board show support for the mayor of Caracas, Antonio Ledezma, and demands their immediate release and that of all mayors arrested for expressing freely their ideas.

Last Friday, February 20, the Bolivarian Intelligence Service arrested the mayor of Caracas, Antonio Ledesma, leader of the Social Democratic Alliance Bravo Pueblo, is one of the most important opposition leaders.

2. The Governing Board of the City of Murcia publicly expressed their solidarity with Mr. Antonio Ledezma, Metropolitan Mayor of Caracas and demands their immediate release and that of all mayors arrested by freely express their ideas.
