The researcher at the Center for Molecular Biology "Severo Ochoa" (CSI-UAM) Margarita Salas impart the Monday, February 23, the first lecture of the series "Reunion with our Doctors and Drs Honoris Causa", organized by the University of Murcia in its centenary celebrations.
Throughout the cycle will involve different personalities from the world of culture, arts and sciences that have been invested honorary doctors of this educational institution, as the Italian writer Claudio Magris, Professor Federico Mayor Zaragoza and political or painter Murcia Pedro Cano.
Margarita Salas conference entitled "Women and Science: my research experience" will take place in the Aula Lumeras Hermenegildo Castro, Faculty of Chemistry, Campus Espinardo, at 11:00.
The event, which is also part of the XXIII Week of the Faculty of Biology and has the support of Seneca and Cajamurcia foundations, will be chaired by the rector, José Orihuela, and Professor Francisco José Murillo Araujo, who submitted to the lecturer .
