The Catholic University of Murcia this morning, in the Episcopal Palace Murcia, calendar of concerts scheduled for his Symphony for next March.

The first concert will take place on March 15, at 20: 00h., In the Auditorium Batel of Cartagena and with the participation of Paloma Friedhoff soloists (soprano), Agnes Olabarría (contralto), Jesús Cantolla ( tenor) and Francisco Alvarez (baritone).
The Symphony Orchestra will perform again UCAM The St. Matthew Passion on Friday March 20, at 20: 00h., In the Auditorium Victor Villegas de Murcia.
On this occasion, will participate soprano Mariví Blasco, Inés Olabarría (contralto), Jesús Cantolla (tenor) and Francisco Alvarez (baritone).

The president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza has highlighted the assistance provided by the University "to the needy and those who suffer", and pointed out that the institution has earmarked this year seven million euros in aid.
The president of Caritas, José Saura, thanked the involvement and support of the Symphony Orchestra and Choir Discantus UCAM, and has encouraged the company to attend the concert to "help the needy to leave the social exclusion ".
For his part, Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, congratulated the Murcia institution to undertake such initiatives that "provides music and art for the benefit of the needy", and highlighted the attention constant given by the Catholic University of Murcia to the needy.
