An entrepreneur has a directory of restaurants with menus for diabetics and celiac (17/02/2015)

It is one of the seventeen entrepreneurs who have been part of the High Performance Program in the bio-food industry in the UCAM

The Campus of Los Jerónimos held this morning the closing ceremony of the High Performance Program in the bio-food sector where, for nine weeks, Murcia ITM Institute of Technology, UCAM, has supported seventeen entrepreneurs this important sector of the region, with the aim of opening new market opportunities.

During the event there have been three of the most relevant projects in this program: FID FUD, a directory of approved restaurants, with adapted for people with lactose intolerance, diabetes and celiac, and has been developed by entrepreneurs José Manuel menus Macia and Ana Arce.

A project that brings together various offers and verified by associations and also restaurants geolocates proximity and price.

An idea born because of the lack of qualified information in this area and the small number of restaurants adapted in the region.

On the other hand, Ivan Leon and Francisco Galián attendees presented their project, Glexport, an online platform multilingual, export of food products and services worldwide.

An initiative that arises in the first edition of the initiative 'Have an Idea', promoted by the ITM, aiming to establish itself as a central purchasing facing the export of Spanish products with designation of origin.

Finally, Begoña Almarcha presented his project, The Majos, a family company with own farm cultivation, processing, packaging and sale of organic products.

The flagship of this enterprising is the aged balsamic sweet organic fig, patented in Spain since 2012 and currently exported to several countries in Europe.

As proof of this, has delivered a bottle of this vinegar members who were part of the presidential table.

In collaboration with the INCYDE Foundation and through co-financing from the European Social Fund, expert mentors in different areas of running a business in bio-agrifood have accompanied for more than two months these participants, helping them to design and complete the plan Strategic business of your company.

Thus they have been able to define business objectives, applying innovation and necessary to become competitive in the market technology.

The closure of the program has been borne by Estrella Nunez, Vice President for Research UCAM;

Javier Collado, director general of the INCYDE Foundation;

Alejandro Zamora, director general of SEF Service Employment and Training;

and Sofia Fernandez, deputy executive director of ITM.
