Disability and the public finances is the subject matter of the book that was presented yesterday in the building of convalescence, home of the Rector of the University of Murcia, which was coordinated by Professors José María Ana Portillo and Millán.
The first explained that this is a book that brings together works by various experts on disability, taxation, finance and budget analysis, human resources, corporate social responsibility, and others.
For its part, the rector Transfer, Entrepreneurship and Employment, Francisca Thomas, stressed the importance of transferring knowledge to society.
He also said that the University of Murcia, with thousand students with disabilities who have the gratuity of enrollment, figure at the head of the Spanish university in this matter.
Eduardo Luque, president of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors, an organization that sponsors the publication, described as "fundamental" the relationship between the university and these professionals.
The event was closed by the Vice Chancellor for Coordination and Internationalisation, Bernardo Cascales, who put in value the national award recently granted by Telefónica to the University of Murcia for being the greater attention paid to the disabled.
A presentation of the work, published by Editorial Aranzadi, also attended the General Secretary of the University, Santiago Alvarez.
