The Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Murcia, Rafael Gómez, delivered last night by the director of Space río_Caballerizas Mills, Carmen Hernández awards this ninth edition, 2014.
The winners were Cosme Ortega Muñoz, with a series on "Mining Union" with photographs taken in 2007 and 2009 showing a heritage that no longer exists and José Manuel Sánchez Carlini his photographs "De Cañaverosa to Almadenes" on Segura river basin.
Both in the mode A, which was this year's Industrial Heritage.
In mode B, on current ethnography, the winners have been Pascual Martínez Martínez, with his photograph "L'été cinema" (summer film La Manga) and Encarna Pérez de Tudela, with his photograph on "Artesano.Herramientas and castanets, "the craftsman Navarro La Arboleja.
In this mode, a special mention was awarded to Miguel Angel Nunez Herrero, for his photograph "The last harvest" on Salinas de Rambla Salada in Fortuna.
In the mode C, historic photograph the family archives, the winners were Mary Cabezas, with photo "Great stern, small shipyards" and Peter J. Sánchez-Soles with photo "Pepito Construction Vera".
All winning photographs have a great documentary and photographic value.
The jury was formed by the Councillor for Culture, Manuel Fernández-Delgado, head of the Museums, Vicente Martinez Gadea, architect, Frédéric Volkringer, photographer and Carmen H. Foulquié, director of the Space Molinos río_Caballerizas.
The competition have gone over seventy photographers from across the region have documented, once again, our rich tangible and intangible heritage becoming, with photographs, in their great conservative.
The month of May will be the exhibition of all the selected photos.
