Serna (UPyD) "The remains of the Arabic site with San Esteban in the background is a metaphor" of the PP governments (11/02/2015)

The candidate of training magenta mayor of Murcia, Rubén Juan Serna, says "something that could be an opportunity to promote the heritage and tourism, regional and local governments have become a problem for inefficiency as managers"

Ruben Juan Serna, candidate for mayor of Murcia and spokesman for Progress and Democracy Union, says that "the remains of the Arabic site with San Esteban in the background is as a metaphor" of the PP governments.

In that sense, claims that "neither the regional government nor the local have no idea what to do with the archaeological site of San Esteban" after neighborhood complaints requesting the rehabilitation of space as a garden.

"We insist that actions need to be undertaken partially immediately, realistic, phased, step by step and cover and reclaim the space to ensure proper conservation," says the mayor.

Also, remember that UPyD Serna takes five years claiming temporary rehabilitation of the area as garden, thereby ensuring that the site is properly preserved, while at the same time could carry out such rehabilitation parties.

"What can not be is to do nothing," said spokesman UPyD Murcia.

In his view both the Autonomous Community and the City, both the Popular Party, have failed to respond within five years.

"All I have tried is to try to cover the shame of that mismanagement with vinyl and allocate recurrent expenditure over the years that are mere patches and no solutions or short, medium or long term."

For Serna, "something that could be an opportunity to promote the heritage and tourism, governments People's Party have become a problem for inefficiency as managers".
