The Sixth International Festival of Magic Solidarity Murcia will support the redevelopment of Center Day CEOM Association (10/02/2015)

The GMP Foundation, in collaboration with the city of Murcia, presents the sixth edition of Grand Illusions, international festival of solidarity magic of Murcia.

The event has a feature that makes it different: Their solidarity objective, and that 100% of the collection is dedicated to improving the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and / or acquired brain injury in the Region of Murcia and allow remodeling CEOM day center.

Grand Illusions be held at the Teatro Circo Murcia during the weekend from 12 to 14 March 2015.

The International Festival of Magic Solidarity Murcia consist of four galas and performing magic shows Street:

1. Magic Gala 1: Friday 13 March at 21.00.

2. Magic Gala 2: Saturday 14 March at 12.00.

In addition, various street magic shows on Thursday 12, Friday 13 and Saturday 14 March will be held in the Plaza de Santo Domingo and Plaza de las Flores whose access is free.

The ticket price is 18 euros for the closing ceremony;

15 euros for sessions Friday night and Saturday afternoon;

and 12 euros for the gala on Saturday at 12.00.

The Association for the Integration of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PEEM) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and / or cerebral palsy and their families.

CEOM was incorporated on January 31, 1990, by a group of parents of children with intellectual disabilities who began brewing in the public school special education Pérez Urruti of Murcia, to the need to respond to the reality of their children once finished the stage of compulsory education.

Since 1993 has been running Occupational Center - Day Center where they receive service 96 people with intellectual disabilities with varying degrees of cognitive and motor impairment, as well as various etiologies: Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism ...

The collection of Grand Illusions, Magic VI International Festival of Solidarity Murcia, will support the redevelopment of the Day Centre, which will facilitate the accessibility of 96 users and improving facilities for the development of everyday center and offering new services.

This program seeks to reshape and improve the day center, extending the floor area so as to allow easy accessibility for users of the center two new areas.

A first zone adjacent to the physiotherapy room for the expansion of existing, and the adequacy of a nursing room and a second area for the expansion of the workshop attached to dining.

Both buildings will be integrated into the existing building and placed in the main facade of the center.
