The sun accompanied the runners in the 5 km long and the final party that lasted until 3 pm
On Sunday February 8 an exceptional event took place in Murcia: HOLI colorful career RUN Murcia Carnival Edition.
Almost 8,000 participants took the start in the village of Cabeza de Torres, armed with bags of colored powders to complete a five kilometers through the streets of the city.
The day was cool but the sun accompanied the participants, very early, raced for the start at 11 am.
After the race it was party time.
The stage became the focus of all attendees, thanks to the music of DJ HOLI RUN Murcia Carnival Edition, the Zumba dance group and members of the organization that encouraged the large crowd.
The highlight, as in other events HOLI RUN, came after the arrival of the runners to the finish;
Holi expected Boom (a collective explosion of color) scored a magical moments immortalized in hundreds of snapshots.
Participants spent five seasons Holi Blitz, one on each kilometer race where the runners volunteers bathed in colored powder.
Each Holi Blitz had a different color (yellow, green, pink, blue and purple).
The event was attended by the mayor of the town, Miguel Angel House, and President of the Association of Carnival, Fran Sánchez, who did not hesitate to take the exit next to the thousands of runners from various parts of the region of Murcia .
The event was the organization of the Youth Council of Murcia, the technical direction of A38 Plenary Services, sponsoring Metropolitan Art Shoes, COPE as media partner and cooperation of the City of Murcia, 585m², Carnival Association Cabeza de Torres Aneto 100% Natural, Amstel Radler and Lanjarón.
