The Director General of Youth and Sports, Antonio Peñalver, received this week in his office the juvenile team of Club Cronos JM hamlet of Murcia Bacons Bridge, which won the title of champion of Spain in Rhythmic Gymnastics base last month November, which he congratulated and praised for its "excellent work".
Peñalver recalled that the gymnasts were imposed in a championship, held in Castellón, in which more than 70 teams from all over Spain, where they won the gold medal participated.
The CEO "encouraged" the team to continue working and to "maintain the enthusiasm for the sport."
He also referred to the technical team, which emphasized "their effort and dedication."
The reception was attended by the six champions Alba Rubio, Jimena Bathrooms, Paula Fernandez, Paula Casanova, Ainhoa ​​Garcia and Veronika Borndarchuck, and their coaches, Pakistan Contreras, Elvira Sanchez, Sanchez Sorrows, Mayte Garcia and Marta Muñoz.
The ceremony was also attended by the president of the Federation of Gymnastics of the Region of Murcia, Maria Angeles Diaz de Figueroa, and the village headman of the Municipal Board Bacons Bridge, Enrique Cano.
