The Local Police alerted by letter to parents of teens who use drugs in the street (03/02/2015)

Local police not only penalize minors making or carrying drugs but also give notice to their parents so that this issue is addressed in the family and thus give a solution.

The Department of Safety and Human Resources, particularly sensitive to contribute to the health, safety and integrity of minors, considered necessary to address this reality not only applying the sanction (in compliance with current regulations, as is required), but adding another line of action that could contribute to its resolution.

Thus, the local police will initiate contacts with parents of young offenders, so that in each household will receive a letter signed by the Security council informing them of the relevant circumstances that may be of interest to that under the exercise of parental rights due to them, they can make decisions more accurate to consider, if necessary, redirect the behavior of their children less appropriate.

The text of the letter include details such as where the child was, on what date and time and what substance was or consumed his son.

In addition, the Local Police intensify surveillance in the vicinity of schools and gardens in order to avoid both drug juvenile and adult near areas frequented by teenagers.
