The Municipal Group Socialist councilor Andrea Garries regrets that the Councillor for Tourism completely de la Huerta forget in the offer presented by the City of Murcia in FITUR.
"La Huerta is what distinguishes Murcia from elsewhere in Spain and instead promote it as a tourist attraction, is completely left out," criticizes Garries.
The PSOE mayor insists that the PP is still not taken seriously tourism as an economic engine and new source of employment.
Garries So, remember to this area, the City Council allocated 2.4 million this year just wasted three million while the Terra Natura Zoo.
"Do not just go to Fitur to take the picture once a year, we need facts to endorse the commitment to tourism. We are tired of seeing the site of San Esteban become a solar, abandoning the cultural heritage of Murcia," the Socialist councilor.
"Instead, Cascales and House go to Fitur to present Murcia as a city only avoiding any reference to the historical heritage of the town and marginalizing back to the Huerta" said Garries.
Finally, the socialist mayor insists that "Murcia has all the conditions to be a premier tourist destination thereby claiming to Cascales greater effort in this area could certainly help our town out of the crisis."
