The Department of Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, who runs Alicia Barquero, celebrates the Fourth Edition of the School Day of Non-violence and Peace in school activities Cierva Peñafiel this year.
The students have done the reading of a manifesto drawing a mural and release of balloons with the slogan: We are hearts and Manos Unidas for peace and freedom.
Alicia Barquero has participated in the activities.
This day has been commemorated on 30 January each year through the various schools, and aims to raise both educators and students about values ​​of non-violence, peace, tolerance and respect for human rights.
The School Day of Peace and Nonviolence is a nongovernmental educational journey founded in Spain in 1964 by poet and pacifist Mallorcan Lawrence Vidal Vidal, also commemorated the anniversary of the death of Mahatma Gandhi.
