Mayor House promotes a zero quota for garbage fee that will benefit 1,700 families Murcia with few resources (19/12/2014)

City also maintains a flat fee of 5 euros for water supply

More support and aid to needy families Murcia.

The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, and the Director General of the municipal Water and Sanitation (EMUASA), José Albaladejo, this morning signed an agreement that will establish a zero rate fee of garbage.

This new agreement expands the social fund performances presented by mid-year and, provided 300,000 euros, set a budget of 110 liters per capita per day free of charge.

In addition to this fund, reclaimed water rates last year benefited 5,400 pensioners and large families remain.

Last year, the social fund reached 226,000 euros, and 935 families benefited him.
