Councilman Recruitment and Heritage, Cosme Ruiz, has resigned this morning to collect their attendance at the regular plenary session held yesterday on the grounds that its barely a quarter of an hour-duration does not justify receiving any amount.
"It's a matter of conscience," said the mayor.
Murcia City Council yesterday held two plenary sessions.
One, as is traditional every last Thursday of the month, corresponding to regular plenary session, where different political groups debate the motions (in this case, the agenda included a total of 13).
And the other session, convened at the request of the opposition groups, would be on the draft burial of the AVE on arrival at Murcia.
Before the session, the opposition withdrew all motions that had been submitted to regular plenary session to discuss only the issue of AVE.
Thus, after the conclusion of the extraordinary plenary session, the second session was concluded without content and just fifteen minutes after starting.
The fact that some councilors, whose dedication is not total charge for attendance at each session is given.
For the Popular Party councilors only Cosme Ruiz is in that situation.
