The Socialist councilor Andrea Garries finally welcomes the municipal government of the PP decides to rehabilitate and to value the Islamic wall located in the parking lot of La Glorieta, and encourages the charge of Culture to continue recovering the cultural heritage of Murcia, which has its best at the site of St. Stephen.
Garries emphasizes that such action is a result of a motion presented by the Socialist Group in plenary December 2013 and which was rejected by the roll of the Popular Party.
"Motion presented by the PSOE after in January last year alerted the deterioration of the wall of La Glorieta No response was obtained" emphasizes the socialist mayor.
The PSOE Councillor remember that the walls of La Glorieta has been receiving continuous pollution due to incessant traffic of vehicles parking, where it is located without any protection or cover.
"Although the PSOE rejected the motion, we are glad that the wall will be finally rehabilitated" concludes the socialist mayor.
