The mayor, Miguel Angel House, and the president of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura, Miguel Ángel Ródenas, keep morning a meeting with the Director General of Water, Liana Sandra Ardiles, in order to try to expedite the work of the Special Infrastructure Plan Hydraulic Northern Zone of Murcia.
The project is critical to mitigate the disturbances produced in that specific area when rainfall events occur.
The action involves the construction of an underground water structure to collect water from the wadis before it reaches the city and channel it in a controlled manner along nearly seven miles of pipelines.
The meeting will take place at 12.15 hours at the Directorate General of Water, Ministry of Environment (Plaza San Juan de la Cruz).
