Require the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia the completion of the first courses of Basic level cycles in the city of Murcia during the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 upcoming courses.
This is the central base of the motion that was approved this morning plenary of the Corporation with the votes of all political groups.
Murcia City Council takes 19 years to develop the Initial Professional Qualification Programmes, aimed at students between 15 and 20 years old.
In total, 203 groups have been created in different programs, with 2,817 students and more than 300 township enterprises collaborating actively in the programs.
These Initial Vocational Training programs each year receive the application form for 160 students, so deleting them would mean the loss of training to a large number of unskilled young people, in addition to the loss of jobs, specifically 16 positions (seven teachers basic training workshops and 9 teachers).
For this reason, the House of the Municipal Corporation of the City of Murcia is committed to urge the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities First Transitional Provision of Royal Decree 127/2014/28 February, which will regulate the specific aspects of the Basic level of the educational system, which provides that for the school years 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 authorized the development of the first course of the cycles of Basic Training provided by local government entities have taught Initial Vocational Training programs.
