The Socialist Party spokesman, Pedro López, will defend in Parliament this month a motion demanding the PP that do not apply the 'rate hikes' in buses districts, a move that will take effect tomorrow and why neighbors living outside the city will have to pay € 1.85 ticket, ie 35 euro cents more.
Lopez returns to denounce a new rush in the bus fare for the citizens of districts, while service quality is declining fast with the cuts and shrinking lines of timing and frequency.
"Again we have to eat one more chapter in the politics of coordination between municipality and autonomous region where you always lose the neighboring districts," says Lopez.
A single price
Thus, the PSOE spokesman in the House require the PP to lower the price of bus ticket to equate with the districts of the city, from 1.85 euros amount paid from tomorrow citizens living outside Murcia - to € 1.05, which is the price we pay those who live in the city.
"We have always defended and so we'll continue to do a single price on public transport in all lines of the municipality, moving across town or to the districts, and that all users are residents of Murcia and pay taxes religiously, regardless of where they live, "said Lopez.
Finally, the Socialist spokesman advised that the councilor Iniesta hold the meeting with the Minister of Public Works, Manuel Campos, to seize the occasion and also to demand that this new 'rate hikes' does not apply, to address other important issues that are affecting public transport in the town.
