Starts the 12th edition of Murcia Lan Party 2013 (05/12/2013)

Nearly one hundred hours of high speed navigation, tournaments, competitions, conferences and workshops are the main attractions of this event.

The average age of participants is 23.9 years, with 92.4% boys and 55% from the Region of Murcia

Murcia Lan Party will begin Thursday, December 5 at 17 pm at the Palacio de los Deportes de Murcia.

The Department of Culture and Sport, Youth and Tourism of Murcia, in collaboration with the University of Murcia, offer the opportunity to enjoy over 100 hours of high-speed navigation, tournaments, competitions, conferences and workshops, the 5 to 9 December.

A social event that brings a thousand participants from all communities, computer lovers who meet their own equipment in an enclosure.

96 hours uninterrupted network and coexistence, where members, who have spent years playing together through Internet, have the opportunity to meet in person, closer ties during the various activities to be carried out.

Award for best young initiative by the Youth Institute of the Region of Murcia, Murcia Lan Pary is currently the largest in Europe organized by volunteers and the second in the number of participants from those made in Spain.

A festival was born in 2001 and that year after year has grown in participants, activities and quality.

The profile of a young wizard is about 23.9 years (the largest participant being 52 years and under 13).

92.4% are boys and 55% are from the region of Murcia.

Of the total 536 participants are Murcia, Alicante 118, 51 of Madrid, and the rest from other provinces.

Furthermore there is targeted 33 foreign.

Saturday at 12:00 h - Workshop robotics and 3D printing

Speaker: Patrick Martinez Cano

This workshop will explain how their own autonomous robot manufactured by domestic 3D printers and how to operate it.

This workshop is not required by the public any prior knowledge or 3D printers and robotic as it is designed for anyone to be manufactured and control your own printable or printbot robot.
