"Social media is walking on the road communication and industry professionals," said Paul Blesa, Dean of the School of Communication at the UCAM
Title of Diploma in Social Media and New Communication Technologies is now a reality.
The project, born from the hand of the Catholic University of Murcia and the Journalists' Association, was presented at the conference "Communication and social networking: take in social media", in which several experts expressed their vision of communication in the panorama 2.0, especially on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and LinkedIn, among others.
The day consisted of two presentations by the consultant and director Paco Viudes Department of Communication Sciences UCAM, José Manuel Noguera.
In addition, two roundtables on corporate communication and media were held.
The first was led by managers and communication officers from various agencies, such as Ramón Avilés, the CROEM; Julia Oriol, the Chamber of Commerce and Ignacio COBRECES of INFO.
The board closed the day that brought together journalists Alberto Castillo (SER), Marta Castillo (Onda Regional de Murcia) and Quique Baeza (Weye GoldelMurcia.es and TV).
"This title is an encouragement and a boon to companies"
Before starting work, Paul Blesa, rector of International Relations and Dean of the School of Communication at the UCAM, Juan Antonio De Heras, dean of the College of Journalists of the Region of Murcia, and Luis Javier Lozano, CEO of Universities CARM; presented the title Diploma in Social Media and New Communication Technologies.
About these studies, Lozano congratulated the University "by the format chosen for the initiative," which is "an incentive for professionals and a boon for the companies."
The title, which has four modules and is conducted in blended way, will bring together an expert faculty in social media, through which students can learn the keys of the main tools, new business models or the different ways to publish contents on networks.
