"The Cultural centers and neighborhoods" and "Cultural centers and crises" are the main issues to be addressed starting tomorrow at the Congress of the European Network of Cultural Centres (ENCC) to be held on 28, 29 and 30 November at the Center Párraga Murcia.
The congress is organized is organized by the ENCC (encc.eu) in cooperation with the city of Murcia, Murcia and the Culture Center Puertas de Castilla.
The program includes lectures, workshops, guided tours of cultural sites in Murcia and cultural events for participants from all over Europe visit.
The main theme of Shortcut Europe this year is "Cultural centers and neighborhoods": the mission and programming of cultural spaces are, in large part, determined by its location and the value of their work with their neighborhood.
The meeting offered as second point of discussion concerning the topic "Cultural centers and crisis" crisis problem, but also as a moment of truth, possible transition to a new way of working and cooperating.
The meeting will be divided into working groups, with three different approaches:
- How networks of cultural centers operate in large metropolitan areas-
- What are the special needs and the role of culture in rural areas-
- What are the challenges for cultural centers as key piece in its own area urban-
Murcia Shortcut Europe 2013 is a meeting place for all professionals in the art, culture and social, and enthusiasts seeking networking and exchange of ideas between Spain and the rest of the European Union.
Recently, Congress took place in Warsaw, Poland (2011) and Zagreb, Croatia (2012).
The deadline for registration is still open until full capacity, and the price is 50 euros and includes:
