The distribution of ties in the Plaza de Santo Domingo is an act of awareness in which participated Councilwoman Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero.
Have also been distributed bookmarks with information about the Municipal Assistance Team Violence against Women (EMAVI), which provides legal, psychological, social and educational services to women victims of gender violence.
Barquero said that so far this year have treated a total of 300 cases through EMAVI service.
The profile of women requesting the service, the largest number of cases between 20 and 40 years.
In 2012 the number of interventions was 315.
