The Mobile Emergency Services and Social Care (SEMAS) Murcia City Council has treated during the early morning nine people sleeping in the street.

This is the first exit which is performed early in the campaign against the cold that has been already launched.

The SEMAS toured the San Andrés, Ronda Norte, Avenida Primero de Rivera, the garden of Santa Isabel and Carmen neighborhood and attended 9 people, all men, who gave sleeping bags and blankets, and received information and guidance on existing resources for the homeless.

One person was taken to the shelter of Jesus Forsaken.

The SEMAS takes this action in cooperation with the local police in Murcia, the Citizen Service at night, and Jesus Forsaken RAIS Foundation.

Of the nine men attended six are Spanish, one in Romania, one from Algeria and one from Mali.
