Murcia City Council has awarded repairs and improvement in schools Virgen de las Maravillas (The Martinez del Puerto), Virgen de la Fuensanta (La Alberca), Mariano Aroca (Murcia) and Our Lady of Tears (Cabeza de Torres) .
In total, more than 108,000 euros invested.
These works are part of the plan to improve schools launched by the Department of Education, directed by María Dolores Sánchez, and that will carry out work in indoor and outdoor public schools in the municipality during this school year.
A total of 250,000 euros will be allocated to actions in electrical, painting, carpentry, replacement of manholes, paving and sanitation, among others.
Specifically, in the Public School Our Lady of Wonders Rush will be low voltage underground and in the CEIP Virgen de la Fuensanta, Mariano Aroca and Our Lady of Tears will be indoor and outdoor repairs.
In addition, work will be carried out in centers Virgen de las Maravillas de los Martínez del Puerto, Our Lady of Tears in Cabeza de Torres, CEIP Barriomar 74, CEIP Mariano Aroca, CEIP Lady of Grace, Our Lady of La Fuensanta Pool, CIS Orange (Beniaján), CEIP Antonio Diaz (The Garres), Antonio Delgado Dorrego (Sangonera the Green), Virgen del Rosario (The Cave Monteagudo) and CEIP Arteaga (Sucina).
Maria Dolores Sanchez recalled that these repairs must be added rehabilitation programs schools serving daily concerns, suggestions and proposals of the educational community, immediately responding, 365 days a year-to incidents that occur, and works in thirty schools that have taken place during the summer in the amount of 806,000 euros.
Also, the City Council has awarded the contract for outer packaging Conciliation Center of Work and Family Life of El Palmar, which currently is being using by New School students in the school.
These works will improve the environment of the center, will involve an investment of 49,000 euros and will have a lead time of 45 days.
