A new Tourist Information Point caters to visitors in Juan Carlos I (12/11/2013)

People visiting Murcia have a new Tourist Information Point situated Juan Carlos I.

It municipal office joins the Belluga Square and Information Point Santa Clara Street (back of Romea).

The new Tourist Information Point offers city maps and detailed information on the cultural attractions, monuments and tourist town in Spanish and English.

It is staffed by one person from Monday to Friday from 16.30 to 20.30 and on Saturdays from 10.00 to 14.00.

Councillor for Sport, Youth and Tourism, Miguel Cascales, this morning visited the office, which is located on the underside of the Prince of Asturias flag, next to the Regional Library, and has an area of ​​40 square meters.

It is decorated with vinyl flat in the four colors of Murcia Tourism logo-red, green, mauve and yellow, with photographs by Joaquin Zamora on major city attractions such as the Casino, the Cathedral, the Teatro Circo Murcia, the angels and Salzillo Last Supper, among others.

The office has a counter adapted for people with disabilities who use wheelchairs and exhibitor area.

Also, place a focus of the Bicycle Office to report on the possibilities of knowing Murcia cycling.

This office is opposite the tram stop and in an area where there are several hotels.

The opening of the Tourist Information Point is part of Murcia 365 Revitalization Plan, which includes the opening soon of another point in the garden of the Barrio del Carmen Floridablanca.
