The City Council launched four free route for tourists who stay in hotels in the county (03/10/2013)

The Department of Tourism launches four free tours for visitors staying at hotels in the town.

Councillor for Sport, Youth and Tourism, Miguel Cascales, explained that this is an initiative that is part of the plan for boosting tourism Murcia 365 to provide more quality services tourists and attract visitors all year round.

The routes will be offered in English and Spanish simultaneously and must be requested by the visitor at his hotel one day before the meeting.

The proposals are:

-Murcia Monumental.

It is held every day from 10 to 11.30 hours.

It will travel Belluga Square with Imafronte explanation of the Cathedral, the Episcopal Palace and the Moneo building (annex to City Hall), will visit the interior of the Cathedral, the church of San Juan de Dios, the Casino de Murcia and the Museum housed.

San Esteban is also displayed and the church of San Miguel.

-Murcia Shopping.

Is scheduled on Friday and Saturday from 10.30 to 11.30 hours.

They will visit the most emblematic streets of the historic pedestrian area, whose names are listed with the unions that housed as Tatters, the facade of the Casino, the Four Corners and The Joy of the Garden, Santo Domingo, Plaza Julian Romea, Jabonerías Street and Company.

Gourmet-Murcia.

Be held Saturday and Sunday from 12-13 hours.

Increase hotel occupancy

Murcia Hotel occupancy has increased by 6.5 points during the month of August compared to the same month of 2012 representing an increase of 24%.
