Following the work dynamic educational offerings on entertainment and leisure, the city of Murcia, through the Department of Culture, directed by Rafael Gomez, presents a new edition of the Summer Schools for the month of July.
In total we conducted 23 Summer Schools, dependent on the Department Culture, but five of them (El Carmen, Sangonera la Seca, El Esparragal Zarandona and St. Pius X) are organized jointly with the Department of Social Welfare and Health.
We, once again, with the cooperation of the Department of Education (use of public schools) and Sports (use of swimming pools and sports centers).
In addition, a group of Municipal Boards and District Boards collaborating providing financial resources, especially in the management of buses and excursions.
In this year, the Summer Schools Murcia City Council intend to hold International Year Cooperation in the Field of Water, arranging for all children / schools as attending a series of workshops and activities related to this matter.
They offer 1,250 seats of which 335 correspond to an approach to working with the Department of Social Welfare and Health.
Children born between the years 2001-2006, inclusive, may enjoy these activities (exceptions for the years indicated, may be reflected in the brochure).
The dates of Schools are 1 through July 12 and the schedule of activities is 10 to 13 hours generally.
