About thirty schools in the municipality will be under construction this summer in order to provide citizens with quality facilities.

The Department of Education, directed by María Dolores Sánchez, uses the summer to overhaul public schools in the municipality.

The works will take place during July and August.

The planned investment is EUR 806,000.

These interior and exterior repairs, power conditioning, heating and work suitability of a music room in the CEIP Salzillo (Espinardo).

The works to be performed include:

The Councillor of Education is holding meetings with directors of schools, AMPAs representatives and presidents of the Municipal Councils where they will perform the works this summer so everyone knows firsthand the investment and jobs in schools .

The maintenance, improvement, repair and expansion of public schools is a priority for the government team's Party.

Maria Dolores Sanchez, recalled that in addition to these repairs carried out in summer, rehabilitation programs serving schools daily concerns, suggestions and proposals of the educational community, immediately responding, 365 days a year- to incidents that occur.

During the year, school construction crews have made repairs to masonry, painting, heating, ironwork, carpentry, etc., in 32 schools in the municipality, with an investment of 208,800 euros.
