IU-Greens has tabled a motion for the city of Murcia proceed to change the medical office manual doors of the Esparragal by some automatic fix "numerous" architectural barriers that impede access to the center.
The left-wing councilor training in Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, has indicated that the residents of the hamlet since 2009 have demanded a solution to the problems of the office, which mainly affect elderly and motor difficulties, but the Council did not resolved.
In addition, IU-Greens has developed an initiative by urging the Government team claiming health counseling to immediately resume work on the health center of St. James, which have languished for a year.
Tornel recalled that the completion of the work of the center, located on the Avenida General Ortín, was scheduled for 2011, but so far only the structure is completed.
He has expressed his support to complaints by neighbors, that because of this situation have to go to the center of El Infante, collapsed because it deals with thousands of patients.
He has stated that the objective of the health center of St. James is giving health care to more than 7,000 residents of the neighborhood, together with those of St. Pius X, San Benito, part of the neighborhood of El Progreso and Patiño.
